The image of the ocean is commonly organised into sky, horizon and sea. In the video installation LOOK! THE SEA! Wittmann fragments this image into geometrical forms and utilises different surfaces for the pojected picture sections. She questions customary patterns of the perception of the ocean, as well as representation potentials of the medium film.
